I really enjoy being in the kitchen with my small (but almost great ) women. I recall a little all cookies , there are those who helps me eating raw pastry , who enjoys doing strange cutters , who would want to make a cookie with a whole jar of jam, who oversees the kitchen , hoping to get one just came out from the oven ... and that I would like to take pictures ! Dear mothers try it and see !



Cookies with jam




250 grams of flour

100 grams of lard

70 grams of sugar

One whole egg

a yolk

A half shell of water

3 tablespoons of rum



parchment paper




Quickly knead all the ingredients and put the pastry obtained in a clean cloth to rest in the fridge for a few hours ( I usually take it in the morning and in the afternoon I like to make cookies ) .

Take the pastry and baked on a sheet of paper with a well floured rolling pin, let's make it thin . We pay attention to the thickness . If you want to make a biscuit with jam must be thin enough about 2 mm, 1.5 , because we have to superimpose the pasta.


Let our molds for the base, we put a little to the center of jam ( but just a little ) and coat it with the same shaped cookie private of the central part from a mold equal but smaller in size . 

  If you do not want to waste so much time we can also make two molds the same, we will have a cookie filled with jam , in this case we can also put a little bit more. Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for about 15 minutes , but this depends on the oven , I suggest you do some testing to avoid the risk of burning them or having them undercooked . Withdraw them from the oven and let them cool , (children permitting).  We serve if you like covered with a dusting of icing sugar.
